Logo Design

Using pictures to represent ideas and words has been a hit for thousands of years. Your logo is your emblem, your totem in the town square, and while it can be made up of text or contain only a single image, it’s your first line of communication with your customers.

All good logos have common elements: they’re easily recognizable, they imply the superiority of your product or service and inspire trust in your company. Your logo is a fundamental piece of your brand, and you want it to stand out from the crowd.

Take the Coca Cola logo for example; it hasn’t changed a lot since 1885, and you can recognize it at a glance. In fact, you could probably draw it more easily than you could a map of your own neighbourhood. That’s because it’s designed to be instantly memorable. Logos are a reminder of a brand and a product, even one you haven’t used yet. It unites everything you know about a brand into a single concept in your mind.

A well designed logo speaks to the quality of the brand and inspires trust; it says you’re established and know exactly who you are and what you can do.

I mean, would superman have been so cool without the cape and “S” on his chest… we think not.  Now THAT’s good branding!
